Shoes at London Fashion Week : Eley Kishimoto S/S 08

Some of the more interesting-but-wearable shoes at London Fashion Week so far were featured at the Eley Kishimoto show, where crazily patterned shoes paired with equally-crazy patterned hosiery seemed to be the order of the day. I did manage to find one pair of relatively tame cream heels (top right), but, those aside, this collection featured lots of low-heeled wedges in bright colours and patterns.

The shoes are actually fabulous on their own, but wear them with a pair of black and white striped socks, or some rather unusual blue stripey cutaway socks (top left) and you have yourself a whole different look! I love the blue and white wedges on the bottom left of this picture, which would look cute with a sundress or faded blue jeans, and the light, bright colours of this collection overall is really appealing. Still not sure about the socks, though...
