It’s all very well lusting after high heeled shoes with chunky platform and delicate little straps, but that kind of shoe isn’t very practical if you’re shopping/walking the kids to school/going to work (unless you’re a celebrity, in which case every one of those activities is a photo opportunity). For times when I actually need to walk I like a pair of not-too-high wedges like these from Dolce Vita. They’re the ‘Bridges’ in graphite suede and cost US$103 from Emily Grace.
