I wish we had a feature called ridiculous shoe of the week because this would be my nomination – Stuart Weitzman’s gold leather elasticised ‘Gladiator’ sandals, US$153. Please excuse me while I stop laughing. Who on earth is going to wear these? Doing a Shoewawa search I’m surprised by how many gladiator sandals we’ve featured but, to be fair, I can only find one other pair that goes all the way up the legs. Does anyone wear this style of shoe? Am I missing out on something big?
