Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay95.jpgIt's been a wee while since the Yays won by more than a nose, but happily last week's offering managed to win quite a few hearts! If bold geometric prints, buckle details and sky-high stilettos are your thing, you can pick up 'Kameron' (terribly modern) for $149AU from Nine West.

This week's offering is, at first glance, fairly innocous; but look closely at the detail on the toe and you will find... a washing line, complete with miniature clothing! What do you think of this unusual embellishment? Is it clothes line chic or wishy washy? Yay or Nay and why?

Nay! Looks too much like a child's shoe to me, and I think that square too would make my feet look huge!

Yay! Agree with Amber about the shape, and it would definitely benefit from a heel but once the style of the shoe's grown up then the washing line is adorable!

Cute, but not for me, because the ladies above are right about the shape. My feet are normal sized but they would look large and shapeless in these. Nonetheless if I saw you wearing this with a suitable outfit, I'd think it was very cute.

Nay. I don't want laundry on my feet & the shape is terrible.

Nay, unless you're under ten... I wouldn't wear them even then though. They are clunky and really infantile. Not to mention that ghastly colour... :)

yeh camper shoes always are a very dowdy childish shape that looks crap on your foot. while i do think the idea is absolutely adorable, its definitely a 10 yr old's shoe

nay from me

I also think the washing line thing is cute, but the colour of the shoe completely ruins the idea. I like the round toe. I'd never entertain the idea of wearing a flattie either, so overall it's a nay.
