'York cuff ankle bootie' by Dolce Vita

I have this little love affair with the notion of shbooties/Peter Pan boots/booties/whatever you'd like to call them. But as with all great love affairs, there is passion, there is desire...but there isn't much room for practicality. A forbidden love, you might say. I can't figure out what in my wardrobe I might reasonably wear with Peter Pan style shoes like this, or how I'll manage to convince my workplace that these are appropriate, but I can't help lusting over them online every time I come across a particularly well shaped bootie with that turned over flap and naughty slit down the center.
