Back on the chain gang with Stuart Weitzman's black patent 'Chainto' pumps

Of all of the embellishments that can be added to shoes, chains would have to be my least favourite, bringing to mind tacky ankle-straps and dangling gold accessories. Not these ones, though. Stuart Weitzman has actually managed to keep his "chain shoes" tasteful, by putting the chain on the sole rather than using it as a strap, and I think it's worked out quite well. It certainly makes these 'Chainto' pumps a little different from all the other black patent shoes that are available at the moment, and the metallic heel compliments the sole perfectly. They're $299 at Nordstrom.
