Bruno Frisoni's black and gold platform sandals - sex on a stiletto heel

bruno-frisoni-heels.jpg I have a bone to pick with Bruno Frisoni. It's about the heel on these stiletto patent platforms of his. See, it was all going fine with this shoe until we got to the heel: in fact, it was going rather better than fine. These are more or less a sexed-up version of the black and gold platforms
we showed you back in August, and what's not to love about that? Well, it's the heel, that's what. I think the gold metal spike cheapens it, turning what would have been a staggeringly sexy spike heel sandal into something that's just a little too sexy, if you get my drift. These are 4 inches high, and cost $595. Would you wear them, though?

I totally agree with you. Stunning shoes, but ruined by that tacky half metal heel.

I still love them!

Hmm... I'd like them better without the metal spike, but I don't think it completely ruins them either. I'd wear them out I guess, but it isn't the case of instantaneous shoe love that it could have been.

Actually...I really like the gold heel section :/
