Dolce & Gabbana's jewelled 'Carla' peep toe sandals with metallic conical heel

Lots of designers have been using conical heels on their shoes lately, but I think these silver 'Carla' peep toes by Dolce & Gabbana are a particularly good example of the style. The textured contours on the metallic heel really make a feature of it, and this is a shoe that almost looks better from the back than it does from the front - quite an achievement really, especially when the front in question so pretty, with that jewelled brooch detail. A metallic insole and suede lining completes the luxurious look of these - well, it's those little details that count, isn't it? They're $585 at eLuxury.
