Paris Fashion Week: Chanel's new shoes. And bags.
It was a case of "from the sublime to the ridiculous" at the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week. I absolutely love both of the shoes shown above - especially the black satin Mary Janes with the unusual heel bow - but what's with the ankle-bags, Karl Lagerfeld? Granted, the bag isn't actually part of the shoe, and is just strapped to the ankle all by itself, but when you have such pretty footwear, who wants to take the attention away from them with a bag that looks suspiciously like a house-arrest bracelet.
A great show from Chanel on the shoe front, though. And how I hope those Mary Janes will be available in cheaper versions sometime soon!
