Primark's new shoes for Autumn/Winter 07- cheap shoes a go-go!
Every time we write about cheap shoes from the likes of Primark we get a real mix of responses, with some people saying "Bring it on! The more shoes the merrier and the cheaper the better!" and others more concerned about the ethics of budget shoe-production, not to mention the quality of the footwear itself.
Regardless of your position on cheap shoes, though, there are plenty of them around, with Primark leading the charge. The shoes on this page are all from their Autumn/Winter 07 range and will be available in store this month. The shoes on the top left really have to be seen in close-up to appreciate fully: they're a soft, glittery silver (also available in bronze) that will work for night or day, and are £12. The ones on the right, meanwhile, are standard black patent ballet flats, with sexy low sides and a bargain-bin £6 price tag. Two more after the jump...
In keeping with the metallics trend, the wooden heel on these gold court shoes adds a bit of interest to an otherwise nice-but-standard shoe. Round-toed metallic courts are a wardrobe staple as far as I'm concerned, though, and these ones are priced at just £15.
Shades of Marc Jacobs, with these zip front t-bars in pewter. These are £12, but won't be available until the end of November, so plenty of time to save up your pocket money - not that you'll need to at that price!
These are just a few of Primark's offerings for this winter - will you be rushing out to buy them, though, or does the low price tag actually have the effect of putting you off, as it does for some people?
