Red or Dead's gold 'Madge' mid-heel court shoes

Something about the name "Madge" just doesn't suit these gold Red or Dead pumps, which look to me like they're all ready for an appearance on Celebrity Come Dancing or similar. Looked at objectively, I shouldn't really like these: the toe is chunkier than I'd normally wear, the heel is shorter, and I have a pathological hatred of logos on shoes (or on anything, come to think of it). I think the sparking gold leather and criss-cross ankle straps is what saves these though. I wouldn't wear them on a day to day basis, but I'd definitely consider them if I ever decided to take up ballroom dancing as a hobby. They're £59.99 at Viva la Diva.
