Policeman who spied on Jimmy Choo boss Tamara Mellon is jailed

The policeman who spied on Jimmy Choo boss Tamara Mellon on behalf of Matthew Mellon during their divorce procedure has been jailed for 27 months. PC Jeremy Young headed Active Investigation Services which tracked Ms Mellon's movements in 2004 during the couples divorce. He used illegal practices such as hacking and bugging to follow her movements whilst signed off from his Police duties for depression. Mellon must be relieved by the decision following her court battle with Matthew earlier this year. PC Jeremy Young pleaded guilty to to conspiring to commit misconduct in public office between June 2003 and March 2004.
