While trawling a bevy of most excellent bargains in the Office sale, I was unfortunate enough to come across this monstrosity. I can't even begin to imagine what their buyer was thinking when they put this style into their catalogue of footwear. Did they think it fit the 'menswear-inspired' trend, in that it looks like it's made out of an old suit? Or was it the lace-up design that they somehow linked to brogues that have been so popular of late? Whatever it was, it was a long (and demented) stretch of the imagination that brought them to the conclusion that these were saleable; and even at £15 down from £44.99, they're still asking far too much!
