Velvet peep toe platform pumps from Mossimo at Target

Another pair of shoes for the "designer inspired" files, I think... All these Mossimo peep toe pumps need is a little flash of red on the sole and they'd be doing a passable impression of a pair of Louboutins - from a distance, obviously. As these are from Target, the price is clearly not designer-inspired: in fact, it's just $24.99, which will prove reassuring to your bank manager. For me, the only problem with these is the fabric. Velvet normally screams "evening wear" to me, but I'd want to wear them during the day with opaque tights for a more dressed down look. Mind you, for $24.99, I guess I wouldn't have to worry too much about ruining the fabric!
