Would you wear over-the-knee boots, like these lace-up 'Marilyn' boots by Jenne O?

jenne-o-boots.jpg There was a time when over-the-knee boots were only ever really seen on characters like Julia Roberts' in 'Pretty Woman', but the times, they are a-changin' and the style is gradually slipping into the mainstream, thanks to a few celebrity wearers and a slew of designer over-the-knees, like these ones from Jenne 0, which are £675 at Browns.

While I wouldn't advocate wearing them with a lycra mini and bare legs, I actually think this style can look good if worn with a floaty dress, absolutely no excess skin, and whole lot of attitude. Of course, the boots have to be good ones - no cheap patent leather or tacky gold heels - but I think these ones could just work with the right outfit, and on the right person. What do you think? Would you dare to wear them?

Yes I would. I think you are right, a long sleeved chiffon dress, would be perfect for these heels. Ive been contemplating a pair myself, but the fella isnt convinced. I'm gonna be a muskateer for halloween, and would like thigh highs for that outfit, but I'm sure I could incorperate them into my everyday outfits too.

Heres a challenge, Amber. Find a pair of everyday thigh highs, that dont cost £600+!

Would I wear these? YES!

Yes, Yes, a hundred times YES!! The second I laid eyes on these I fell in love... And I am absolutely positive I could pull them off, somehow.

The real question is: Would I BUY them? Only if I found myself suddenly very wealthy!
