Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay100.jpgDespite being in the lead-up to Christmas (according to the high street and their decorations, in any case), poor ol' Rudolph the red-nosed Mary Janes didn't fare too well in last week's Yay or Nay vote, with the nay-sayers almost unanimous in their "bah, humbug!". For the few of you who thought they were adorably kitsch, though, you can pick them up for £55 from Topshop.

This week's offering is another of those sock-shoe creations. You know what we think about them, here at Shoewawa, but now we're interested in what you think of this disturbing trend. Are they sock-tastic or devilry of the darkest kind? Yay or Nay and why?

[Don't forget to vote at Trashionista, Bridalwave, Hippy Shopper, Corrie Blog, Catwalk Queen, Kiss and Makeup, Shoewawa and Shiny Shiny too!]

I don't hate the look, but I'd rather wear shoes and socks so I can have more versatility. Nay in the name of practicality.

    Nay and double nay!!

Oh no, it's another nay from me yet again. I simply don't like these shoes in any way - colour/shape/style etc - drab, drab, DRAB! The sock thing bothers me - wouldn't they get dirty, and how would you clean them without ruining the shoe?

nay. i agree - they just don't need the socks. but even if you took the socks away, i think they'd still be a little to chunky. and the colour's really not all that hot either :S
