Marc Jacobs knee high button boots in suede and leather
How beauteous are these Marc Jacobs button boots (£675) from Net-a-Porter? They're the best example of Victorian-inspired boots I've seen in a long time, the jaunty curve of the button and the clever mix of suede and leather is inspired. Why clever? Because you get all the benefits of beautiful suede with none of the drawbacks of it getting dirty and scummy. They're wonderfully leg-lengthening and you wouldn't need to pair them with anything fancier than a pair of jeans for a classy look.
