Why, oh why did Miss Sixty have to ruin this lovely shoe by scrawling their logo on the side of it, I wonder? I know you can't quite see it in this picture, but it's there all right, embroidered onto the heel, and as visible logos are one of my pet shoe hates, I can't bring myself to love these quite as much as I would otherwise because of it.
Logo aside, these shoes make great use of the trend for ruffles we've been seeing this season, using them on the side of the vamp, rather than on the toe or heel, as some other designers have been doing (hello, Miu Miu!). This ruffle gives the shoe a lovely, vintage feel, with the pointed toe and high heel finishing off the look. They're $165 at Nordstrom, and are available in grey and violet.
