Oasis metallic ribbed tights

The best thing about winter is wearing tights: thankfully you can get them in every shade and texture your heart desires. I love these metallic ribbed tights from Oasis (£8), the sparkle is dressy but the ribbing makes it bit more dowdy, in a good way! I think it would look great with worn with a miniskirt, ankle boots and an extra pair of socks for slouchy layering chic and to take the edge off the ritzyness.

With great excitement I just clicked on those metallic tights in anticipation of them being in all colours, and they are silver only.

I bought a fantabulous pair of Nine West shoes which were sort of like their litaris but with a more substantial (but still elegant enough) heel, which has since come more into mode - however, they were half a size too big.

Soooo, being a happy foot candy loving girl, I thought sod it, they have a wonderful neutral colour, a wooden heel, and they have a golden pattern all over them - sooooooo, I'll wait until winter and put them with metallic tights.

Hopefully this will allow me to wear a shorter skirt, without flashing flesh inelegantly, aaaaand wear my shoes - plus look more sophistimikayted than by just wearing flat boots.

Can you help, a sort of beige blush with gold, or pale brown with gold, or even a tawny cream with gold... you get the idea darlings.

Please help aunty Juliet look lovely and justify that 147th pair of shoes nestling in my swollen closets.
