Star-spangled shoes from Office

wizard%20shoes.jpg

I remember when I was a kid there was a girls' footwear range called 'magic step' shoes that all females under the age of ten lusted after. If you had a sensible mother, you didn't get to wear these shoes and in some cases *hangs head in shame*, ended up with a borderline fetish for girly, sparkly shoes into your early thirties. You can see some of the footage that Clarks used to brainwash us, here.

Maybe that's why I was so drawn to these starry purple courts in Office. Available now, they'd look great with metallics, and would certainly bring a bit of sparkle to your Christmas party. Sadly, going into your local branch, stamping your sensible shoes on the carpet and throwing a tantrum won't get you them for free...

I LOVED my Magic Steps shoes - in fact, I was the first girl in my class to get a pair! And I love those but then I do have a slightly unhealthy obsession with anything that has stars on!
