Wrinkly ankle boots by Topshop

wrinkleboot.jpgThese flat ankle boots look like they have either aged dramatically or were left wet in the washing machine for too long. I can't really decide if I like them or not, which is usually a sign that I do not. I think it is just the wrinkly element that puts me off. They're 100% leather from Topshop, who do a similar pair in brown (without the wrinkles). You can wear ankle boots with almost anything, I wear mine on lazy days with skinny jeans and big jumpers. These are £60 from Topshop.com.

Hi! I was wondering if you could help a fellow shoe lover out -- I own these boots (http://www.rampage.com/page/items.itemid.11314)in grey, and I love them, but I can't seem to find anything to wear them with! Do you think you could maybe do a 'Play the Shoe Stylist' with them? Thanks!

What on earth are those beastly things. They can't possibly look that bad in person, can they? In the photo, the upper ankle portion looks like it's huge enough that your foot might slip out as you walked if you weren't careful enough!
