Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay103.jpgI must admit that the outpouring of general disgust over last week's Yay or Nay surprised me a little, but at least there were a few Yay votes! While many of you thought the Chloe-esque heel was overdone, there were some who thought that their military look could work nicely with the right outfit. If you were of the latter opinion, the heels are £55 from Topshop.

This week's offering buys into the ruffle trend that has slowly been permeating the market, although this time, they're on the vamp and heel! But what do you think? Are they victorian-velvet-victory or raving-mad-ruffles? Yay or Nay and why?

YAY!!

Heaven help me, I think I actually like these. I usually am NOT a fan of ruffles in any way, but I really think these are cute and festive; perefct for the Xmas season. And while the ruffle on these may seem a bit over the top, I think this may be another case of "It-looks-better-on-your-feet". With the right outfit and occasion, I think these shoes are unique and lovely!

P.S. I guess that means YAY for me! ;) Sorry, forgot to include the actual Yay in there!

Yay. And if they had a closed toe they'd be very, very YAY!

At last - a yay! Like a lovely glass of mulled wine. Very festive, I agree. Would work with lots of outfits.

I'm usually all like, "NAY! Oh GOD nay!" on Wednesdays but these I actually like. Yay from me. And I would wear them with a little black dress and some purple earrings.

Have to add another Yay. Although the ruffles are over the top, without them, it would be just a plain old shoe (that I would buy).

I say "Yay", but not for my feet...

I think they are gorgeous! Yay!

Yay. The color is lovely.

YAY! I really love the color and the ruffly style. It's a nice, large fluid ruffle verses some small spastic one.

wow not a single nay yet! not that i'm about to make one - it's a yay from me. and while i can see what everyone says about this being a beautiful 'wine' colour, i've seen them in a silvery black/charcoal, and i think i prefer that colour better. but still a yay!
