Manolo Blahnik makes first collection of men's shoes. But will men wear them?

For a designer known for creating some of the most beautiful shoes known to womankind, Manolo Blahnik's first collection for men has been a bit of a disappointment to some - not least to Manolo the Shoe Blogger, who'd like it if we could never speak of this matter again, thanks very much. I can see what he means: I don't know too many men who'd happily wear a pair of blue slingbacks or some leopard print thongs, like the ones shown in this picture, although I guess the red suede brogues are a little more mainstream. What do you think of Manolo's venture into men's shoes?
