Play the Shoe Stylist Results - Dolce Gabbana poppy print court shoes

A fun pair of shoes required an equally fun outfit, and we had some fabulous entries for this week's Play the Shoe Stylist challenge, with some of you deciding to throw caution to the wind and pair those bright prints with bright clothes, and others letting the shoes do the talking with more subtle colour palettes.

I like Libertad's... chic and cool.

I picked the skirt because i don't intend to wear this outfit with just the top and tights. Top was meant to be tucked into the skirt. :-) thanks for the ideas tho' ladies.

I think that everyone this week as done really good.. i just have a few comments...

I think im gunna have to disagree with Gypsy??

I think that the last outfit is great!! the only thing i would say is loose the skirt! i think that considering the top is like a jumper dress, the skirt would just look out of place.. I reckon just a nice pair of Thick black tights and your there!

I REALLY like phoebe's one because of the clash of colours so i agree with Jael. I think its so daring to go for colours that you would never really see together, but it just brings the whole outfit toghetehr with a few lil extra details! The clash of colours is so in this season!

I think Libertad's outfit like Phoebe said, really chick and something i would not hestitate to put on! Its all very simple, and the two piece of red, although little, gives it that bit of colour and connects to the shoes. I think she followed the same sort of principles as phoebe with the extra detail!!

I think that Taylors outfit is nice and simple, its just that i think that the dress could worn to its full potential by using a nice gold belt that sinches in at the waist! I know it has the built in gathering, but i think a gold belt to go with the bangle would look so much better!!

Overall i think taht everyone has done really well this week.. ILOve all the outfits! but especially the clashing colours!! :D:D

I luv Jule's outfit! Especially the gorgeous mac! Not sure about wearing a mini skirt with such a long top, i dunno, would probly look good on.

I also luv the top in Libertad's outfit! Very chic!

And the colour of taylor's dress is spot on for this season!

For years, I'd only wear one color with black or brown. I never mixed my colors. Since last year, I've been trying to be more bold and experimental with color. For that reason, I really love Phoebe's outfit. All of them, however, are fashionably inspiring.

Gypsy

I dunno about that first one or the last one. They look ok on paper but on an actual person they might look like a big mess with too much going on. But I guess eccentricity could be cool. I think number two shows off the shoes the best and has the most class with a touch of whimsy from the alligator bracelet.
