Shoewawa Preview: Bertie
I tend not to be the biggest fan of brown, preferring instead to stick to my trusty black with a hint of silver. There's something about these leather ankle boots from Bertie though that may make me rethink my sartorial choices. The shape is really fluid and I love the little detailing on the ankle, plus the red colour is very vixen without being vamp.
I like the red/brown theme running through the whole collection, even if I think these wellie style shoes are the spawn of the devil. they might be dull but they're undoubtedly comfortable so I'm sure they'll sell. The shiny sandals are a bit more up my street though, with their platform heel and satiny sheen screaming 'wear me' in dulcet tones. Mmm.
