Couture Shoes: Christian Lacroix's striped platform stilettos - Spring 2008
Christian Lacroix can always be relied upon to add a touch of quirkiness to Couture Fashion Week, and these shoes are certainly that. They were part of the Lacroix catwalk show in Paris this week, worn with everything from dresses and skirts to trouser suits, proving that a pair of boldly-striped platform stiletto heels can be much more versatile than you'd think! They're worn in this picture with another of spring's coming trends - sheer tights, which were worn in every colour at the Lacroix show, and which are predicted to take over from opaques in the popularity stakes.
