Have your cake and eat it too, with Dorothy Perkins' metallic courts
I am enormously fond of metallic shoes, and I'd happily see them continue as a trend for ever more, because they're so incredibly versatile. Not as bright as silver, these pewter cross-strap courts are more than a little reminiscent of a Mary Jane. So, why not invest? They'll match any colour; they're both modern and a little old-world elegant; and if you're into etiquette, they're socially appropriate from dawn 'til dusk (who says you can't wear heels with your PJs in the morning!). We love them with anything '20s or '30s-styled (think Blair from Gossip Girl). They're £25 from Dorothy Perkins.
