L.A.M.B.'s 'Dominic' leather sandal with knot tie and platform sole

I'm not sure why, but there's something about this sandal that strikes me as a little bit sinister. Maybe it's that "hooded" look over the heel, which makes the shoe look like it's a highwayman in disguise - or maybe I'm still on a sugar high from all that Christmas chocolate. Either way, it looks a lot less sinister in the blue and white striped colourway it's also available in - in fact, it looks like a completely different shoe, with the tough leather look transformed into a much softer summer style. I'm still not sure how much I like it, but I can't seem to stop looking at it. They're $320 at Nordstrom.
