Manolo Blahnik's feather-trim d'orsay heels

Feathers are one of those things that people tend to either love or hate: some people love them for their old fashioned glamour, while some are just seriously creeped out by them. These Manolo Blahnik d'orsay sandals possibly won't have a universal appeal for that reason, but I think it's good to see Manolo try something a little different. While always beautiful and elegant, his shoes have felt a little "samey" recently, and while these stick with the classic d'orsay style the designer is so fond of, the feathers are a little different, with the blue colour tapping into the spring trend for all things bright and beautiful.
