Miu Miu's pink patent 'Deco' platform shoes
Pink wouldn't normally be my first choice of shoe colour, but if one designer could persuade me to go girlie, with a confection of pink patent leather, that designer would be Miu Miu, who've made my mouth water with these art deco inspired platforms. Although there are two shades of pink there, the black piping helps toughen the shoe up just a little, and the overall effect is less sugary than the words "pink patent" would tend to suggest. These are $695, but are true show-stoppers, which may persuade you that they're worth every penny.
