Orange patent Mary Jane peep toes from Ruthie by Ruthie Davis

"Tights and peep toes are the year's new It couple," proclaims the ShopBop website, who show a picture of these Ruthie by Ruthie Davis heels. Well, I reckon tights and peep toes have been around for a while now, and as long as the tights are opaques, rather than sheer American tan numbers, that's just fine by me, and the shoes do look stunning worn with black opaques on the website. I think these shoes would look stunning worn with most things, mind you: while orange always seems like a difficult colour to wear, this shade is rather lovely, and will really pop with blacks and neutrals. They're $625.
