I'm not such a fan of cheap shoes as they're usually painful to wear and pleather does absolutely nothing for me. Having said that I'm quite keen on these patent pumps from Peacocks (£12). They're just the thing to add a bit of chic when you can't be bothered to wear anything more exciting than jeans. Pop these on with a mohair or angora jumper and you'll look instantly stylish for minimum effort.
