Pink 'Vanora' boat shoes fromBetseyville by Betsey Johnson

Deck shoes generally fall into the "practical, but not particularly interesting" category. They don't look bad, but they can look slightly masculine. Not when Betsey Johnson makes them, though. The designer has managed to make these 'Vanora' flats very feminine indeed, and she's done it by the simple measure of making the bow tie at the front of the shoe an extra big one. Oh, and making them in pink. These are also available in bright yellow, and if you happen to be planning a sailing holiday this summer, could be just the thing - although I'm not sure how practical they'll turn out to be on a slippery deck.
