Like their sister brand, Miu Miu, Prada are continuing to do fabulous things with heels this winter. We showed you their gorgeous jewelled slingbacks back in December, and these floral heeled peep toes also use the embellished-heel idea to great effect. I love the fact that the front of the these shoes are so simple, to balance out the detail on the heel. Any other embellishment would be too much on these, and would run the risk of making them look tacky, but as they are, I think they're almost perfect. What do you think?

I saw these in my local Saks yesterday. They're graceful and elegantly-shaped, but I don't like the heel as much as I thought I would. It's overly plastic-looking -- I'm not sure what it's actually made of, but it just doesn't look quite as nice as the rest of the shoe.
I was looking at the detail shots from this show again this weekend. I love the idea of walking on flowers. So beautiful!
These are so cute....I love the petal. Absolutely perfect. Check out my blog at www.thehipandtrendy.blogspot.com
