Sculpted heel pinstripe wedges by Christian Lacroix

It's been a funny old year for Christian Lacroix, with rather more lows than highs on the shoe front, but given that he's currently leading the field in our Ugliest Shoe of 2007 poll , I thought I'd show you one of his slightly less scary designs, too. That's not to say that everyone will like these perspex heeled wedges, mind you: Lacroix does tend to go for the "love 'em or hate 'em" styles, but while these will alienate those of you who hate to see perspex on a shoe, I think the sculpted heel and thin straps could be rather fun on a summer holiday - although I'm not sure how easy they'd be to wear. It'll cost you $668 to find out.
