Last night saw Valentino host his last ever couture show, at Paris's Rodin museum, before going into retirement. At least we still have the shoes, though, and the shoes in this show were worth the wait. These are glamorous creations in satin and jewels, and if/when they make it to the stores, I'll bet they'll be very much sought after - not just because of the shoes themselves, but because they represent a little slice of fashion history, as part of the last collection designed by the great man himself.
