Of all of the polka dot shoes I've seen and loved, I think these have to be the loveliest. They're by Valentino , and combine that polka dot pattern with an elegantly shaped shoe, featuring a bow peep toe and slim, stiletto heel. These shoes manage to make even the normally brash polka dots look relatively understated - even more so in the "silk straw" colourway, which is better known as "gold" to you and me. They're £595 at Neiman Marcus.
