Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay111.jpgLast week's Yay or Nay offering had me sitting in front of my computer; nose to my screen; refreshing constantly; and waiting with baited breath for someone - some crazy person - to say Yay! Thankfully, the bizarre "beach shoes" from Skechers were a unanimous "I'd rather stab myself in the leg with a fork!" Always nice to know that our readers can pass a standardised sanity test.

This week's offering is... well... 'different' is probably the nicest term available at this time. Another designer making a stand and saying "I am an engine and not a caboose!" if you ask us; but we'd like to know what you think. Are they fashion forward or bobble baloney? Yay or Nay and why?

Yay!
I like the matching colors (brown heel with salmon) and I think the big black ball gives that "designer touch" to the shoe.
Anyway, I have to admit that I liked it better as a design object than for its function to embellish our feet.

Dear God, a big NAY, looks as if you are wearing some sort of manic fish on your feet - guppies of the world unite !

Nay, they're not for me - don't like the overall shape and the prawny colour. I do like the long skinny slingback bits, though. I also have an urge to pull off the bobbly bit and keep it in my hand.

Heaven help me, I actually like these. I think the colour is cute, I like the tapered heel with a little bit of a twist in the deisign at the top, and I think the toe embellishment is cute in a mod sort of way.

Yeah, I'd wear 'em! :)

A disco ball fell on a piano that had a can of pink paint sitting on it. NO.

Did not look fishy to me until I read the comments. And Yes you have a point. However, I still like them and would wear them in a heart beat!

The coral candy color is right on trend, and shoes are moving to an architectural look like these. I like them! Perfect for spring.

Yay! I actually really like them! I think they'd be adorable with a white eyelet dress in the summertime.

Nay. These are just ghastly.

A bit bizarre but I've seen much worse these days. A weak "nay".

I love, love, LOVE the color. The doorstopper-esque heel is a little strange but has grown on me. The ball things are iffy...but I think they'd look great on a foot and could be both quirky casual and formal dressed up and down, so my vote is YAY :D

I like them. The color is fantastic. The black balls are a little weird and maybe just a little bit too big but they compliment the shoes and make them very unique. Yay!
