Giuseppe Zanotti's crystal fishbone sandals

fishbones.jpgWe've seen a lot of different items used to decorate shoes over the years, but I think this must be the first time we've seen the skeleton of a fish added to a t-strap. These are by Giuseppe Zanotti and the fish bones in question are made of silver metal encrusted with crystals. The tail is hinged (although for what purpose I don't know) and there's also a chain mail strap for your ankle. Now, I personally find these pretty creepy, but then I'm not a big fan of the things that live in the sea, living or dead. What do you think of them? If you love them, they're $850 at eLuxury.
