Havaiana flip flops now available at Topshop

32Z25SGLD_normal.jpgTheir fans say they're the most comfortable flip flops ever made, and if you're one of those fans, and in the UK, you may be pleased to know that Topshop have just started selling the famous footwear. There's a few different colours and styles to choose from, including the printed flip flop pictured here, and the price is either £19 or £20, depending on the style you go for.

Has anyone worn these? Do you think they're worth the price?

Havaianas are great, but not for 20 pounds! They run at most $16 in NYC ($7 if you get them on sale). I don't understand how a brand borne out of the slums became priced at such a high point in the UK.

Havaianas are comfortable enough, but I wouldn't say they're the most comfortable flip flop. Since the plastic is formed in molds, some sandals come with little pieces of extra plastic on the thong parts. For one of my pairs, I had to snip off a piece of stray plastic which rubbed the skin between my toes raw. I've found that something made with shock absorbent EVA soles like Reef or Teva is much more comfortable for all-day walking.

20 pounds! In Australia they're $20 - around 9 pounds. Havaianas are the only brand I buy - but to be honest it's a fashion/label thing, not a comfort thing.

I have to say as a Bloke I love Havaianas, never have I found a pair of flipflops, or shoes in general to be so comfortable. I get mine from www.spicebeauty.co.uk as they have a great selection at reasonable prices with free postage!
I guess that Havaianas are slightly more expensive in UK due to the rising cost of Postage/freight from USA and Brazil. I'm a firm beliver of you get what you pay for!
