If you look closely, you'll see that there's also a metallic, serrated edge on the front of the toe, which gives the shoe a slightly "fierce" look (Well, it makes me think of teeth, anyway!). Add an ankle strap and pair with sheer, skintight fabrics in nude colours, and you have the complete "Schwab" look. We'll let you off with the skintight column dresses if you absolutely insist...
