Research shows high heels are good for your sex life! (sort of)

I knew there must be another reason other than vanity that we all put up with the pain of high heels! According to research by Italian urologist Dr Maria Cerruto, women who wore heels showed less electrical activity in their pelvic muscles. The BBC explains that "This suggested the muscles were at an optimum position, which could well improve their strength and ability to contract." Dr Cerruto goes on to explain that "Women often have difficulty in carrying out the right exercises for the pelvic zone and wearing heels could be the solution."

But before you get too excited, the research was based on a study of only 66 women, and the so-called 'high heels' they were wearing were only two inches high. That said, I still think a pair of Louboutin's can help your sex life. They're definitely sexier than Crocs, anyway! [via BBC News]
