At first glance, I thought these Rupert Sanderson slingbacks had a gigantic gemstone on the front, but if you zoom into the picture at Net-a-Porter you'll find that it's actually an acrylic knot. Either way, it adds an unusual touch to these shoes, which don't really need any embellishments to make them stand out - that mirror-shine gold leather is more than enough on its own! These are £350 and are very much "special occasions only" shoes. If you have an occasion special enough for them, you'll find them at Net-a-Porter.
