Azzedine Alaïa heels from Matches

azzedine alaia heels ankle.jpg Azzedine Alaia know exactly what they're doing with this shoe, it's a gorgeous mix of Boudicca-style tough with the curvaceous lines adding femininity.
The heels are very spindly and very high but if you look at the side view the sole seems balanced enough to keep a modicum of comfort. They would look great anchoring down a floaty dress (metaphorically bien sur!) and a leather cuff would carry on the tough theme. They're £515 from Matches, but that's what you pay for über luxurious handcrafted heels!
