Christian Louboutin's leather and espadrille platform sandals

These leather and espadrille sandals are something of a departure for Christian Louboutin, who we're more used to seeing producing gorgeous evening-style shoes, but I think he's one of the few designers who can get away with a design like this. The espadrille part of the shoe could have gone badly wrong (and some of you may think it did), but the result is a very striking summer shoe, which will leave you balancing on top of that wooden platform.
