Miu Miu's crystal embellished sandals

Miuccia Prada recently said that the "It" bag is over, and that these days it's "all about the shoes." Well, as the editor of a shoe blog, I'm not going to disagree with her there, and I've been fascinated by the way teh designer has recently been driving her point home with a series of "statement" shoes, some of which look more like art than footwear. These embellished sandals for Miu Miu are definitely wearable, but they're also very striking, with that huge flower and the now-familiar jewel embellished heel. They're £395 at Net-a-Porter, but what do you think of them?
