Sergio Rossi's zipper detail sandals

When you mention zip-up shoes, most people would tend to think of zips at the front, or at the side, holding the shoe together. Sergio Rossi, though, has turned that convention on its head (or on its heel, rather) adding zips to the back of the stiletto heels on these distinctive teal coloured sandals (or "lagoon coloured" as Rossi would have it). These are $743 at Zappos, so they're not cheap for a shoe that you probably won't be wearing with every outfit you own, but if you're looking for something different, with a bit of a punk feel, this could be the shoe for you.

This is a great pair of sandals - it seems like they are all gone now though. Your Zappos link is bad and they were also out of stock at Endless. Neiman Marcus may still have them but I didn't go all they way through the checkout! I have a picture of them on the street on my blog.
