Steve Madden to make hoisery
Not content with making shoes and clothes, Steve Madden is to move into the world of legwear this year, making a range of socks and tights to wear along with his shoes.
"Hosiery is an extension of footwear, anywhere from tights, socks and leggings," brand director Rob Schmertz told WWD. According to the site, in addition to socks and tights (both footed and footless), the range will also include basic and sweater-knit tights, fashion athletic multipack socks, knee-highs, legwarmers and leggings," and will be available from select Steve Madden stores from July this year.
