I'm afraid I have to confess to not really "getting" TOMS shoes. They've been seen on a lot of celebrity feet recently, and have attracted a good deal of positive press, but while I certainly admire the company's ethics (for every pair of shoes purchased, TOMS give another pair to a child in need, which is a wonderful thing to do) I just can't learn to love the design. These shoes have the phrase "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" printed over them. Great sentiment, but do you think they're great shoes?
