Dune's bright sandal (£80) has got a sturdy black platform so even if you're feeling all frivolous and colourful your feet will be safely strapped in. Black and brights has a tendency to look naff but the pattern stops the shoes from looking too ordinary. Avoid any hint of naffness by teaming the shoes with bright opaques over black ones. I think a pair in slightly rusty orange would look great with a grey dress for a high impact outfit.
